I had the pleasure of watching the video “RSA Animate – The Empathic Civilisation”
From there I created this post “Empathy Rocks!”, and then I took a little time to define my tribe.
My tribe is humanity.
To be part of the tribe you can choose to have your own sense of religion or lack thereof. You get to live your life any way of your choosing. We prefer to test the idea of free in my tribe.
The only requirement to continue to be part of the tribe is LOVE.
Love yourself, and love your neighbor.
Learn from our differences, by first recognizing our similarities.
My tribe embraces compassion and empathy. My tribe understands that life is a mirror to which we can grow a better understanding of our “Self”, and that Gandhi was correct in his statement that “You must be the change you wish to see in this world”.
My tribe is not out to change the world to meet their expectations, but are out to change themselves to become the living example of all that is beautiful in humanity.
When the day comes that we actually meet in person, understand that my tribe is a tribe that enjoys a good hug.
